I am interested in ceramic and found object art. I am looking forward to fabricating some hand build ceramic vessels. I like the shape and form of Mark Hewitt's large jars. In addition, I would like to experiment with sculptural form with clay bodies. In particular, I like forms Masaneo Kaneta and Takao Okazaki; and would like to a pattern repertoire similar to Lucy Lewis.
With found object art, I hope to study an object's relation to political meanings and symbolism. I would like to keep my work more abstract and also focus on color and textural significance within works. Kurt Schwitters comes to mind when I think of Abstract Assemblage or Found Object Art.
Lastly, this site is dynamic and will change as I add content to it.
